Title: Treat Box 3B...almost ready!
Post by: Brekkesmom on March 31, 2006, 07:39:27 PM
Brekke says that the "B" is for her!  Anyhow, the teacher next door to me at school, Rebecca Martinez, has been kind of low because her dachsie, Frida, had to be taken south to the same pet hospital where Gretl-Angel had disk surgery in 1999.  Frida even had the same surgeon do hers!  I began to tell her about our treat boxes and she became so excited that I asked Barb about signing her up!  She will add Rebecca to the list I have, so I apologize to the lucky recipient, because the box is waiting for the new & updated list!  (Not to mention, something I ordered should be here on Monday or Tuesday, and this way I don't have to send it later and separately!)   Okay, the dachsie stuff is ready, but the hoomom/hoodad stuff is in the mail to me!

TerriL - Rebecca's dachsie is named Frida Kahlo, for the artist.  She was probably a laboratory animal, but is a purebred dachsie.  Frida has a number tattoo in her ear, and her vet feels she was a lab animal.

Barb, I just got an email, and I have everything but her snail mail addy - since we're next door to each other at school, I never needed it!    (By the way - you're never too old to learn something new.  Rebecca's third graders are teaching me how to do double Dutch jump rope!)
4:43 p.m. - I went shopping with Mocha's mom this morning... have any of you seen the afghans Petco will have made from your own photo?  I seriously think I need one of my diva!  Anyhow, they had some cute fridge magnets of our favorite dog - but only red smooth!
