I'm sorry. Things have been very hectic here. I've had some personal health problems in addition to my grandparents.
The good news is that my grandmother finally came home last night and that means my grandfather can rest some now. He wasn't resting at all while she was away. That's what you get with nearly 60 years of marriage though. :-) He's had some tests run and they found some fluid on his brain, but think it's treatable. I don't know anything else about that although he goes back on Thursday for more tests. I'm hoping it's better news.
I've been down with "paraflu" which is pretty much the flu without the fever or congestion, but everything else is there in full strength! I'm just now getting back on my feet. I was "lucky" that I got it during Spring break so I didn't get too far behind on my assignments, although I'm working on one right now that is due, well, now. lol
The three girls are doing well. Elf is climbing and talking up a storm. She loves having two dachsies to chase and play with. Gretchen will even sleep with Elf in a puppy pile! Cajsa isn't too sure of that but she keeps a close eye on things! They are fun, although a handful. Elf always nurses when we first get home and the two dachsies always want to climb on my lap/head/shoulder/whatever body part at the same time. It is crazy and I end up feeling like a jungle gym! lol All in all though we are settling in to a good routine and hopefully it will stay settled.
I'm hoping to come check in this week, but I have to get my project proposal submitted or I won't graduate this year! That would really be bad. Here's hoping it gets approved and everything goes well. :-)
Thank you for checking on us. Feel free to post an update on the board for me if you want. I'm not sure if anyone else is thinking about us or not, but it is nice!
April, Morgan-Elf, Cajsa and Gretchen
Hang in there April. Sounds like you have a lot on your plate and are handling it all fairly well!!! A kid, two doxies, school......WHEW! Makes my computer drafting job seem relaxing in comparison. How cute about Gretchen sleeping with Elf. By the way, when you get a free moment (hahaha), we'd love to see some pictures. I hope you feel lots better soon.
