We vote for the "longhaired doberman"
Just on the off chance someone here doesn't know me well enough...this of course was a joke picture of Hallie. :thumb: This is Schutzhund and it's protection dog type of work, but the lowest level to compete in has no bite work or jumping or anything rough, just heeling, sit and down in motion, honoring, etc. So I have Hallie entered April 9 and as far as we can find out she would be the first doxie to get a schutzhund title if she passes. She rocked today, she was awesome I was so proud of her and she had everyone laughing, since she was by far the littlest dog out there and she's so "perky"(and it's very safe, no other dogs are out or loose while we are in the field). In this picture of her, I had the decoy hold a piece of food so Hallie is going for that, not biting the sleeve, it was all very gentle, they know how protective I am of her. We both had a ball today though!
Oh my goodness!!! Amazing pictures. I wouldn't want to meet these dogs in a dark alley
Good Luck to Haley on the 9th. I wish we had more events like this where I live. I live in the deep south, so our dogs just sit on the front porch all day.
:hello2: Hands down....goes to the longhaired cutie pie !!!!
Great pics dd !
That cracks me up! Thanks for the smile, I needed it today. Good for you and good for Hallie, too! Looks like the man she's atacking is smiling!
Whenever my kidz start barking at a passerby I say: "oh my, he's scared, look at him WALK away. Oh gosh you're TERRYFIN'!"
What a hoot!!!
That is FANTASTIC! I'm going to send this link to all the ppl who call doxies "lil' rats!"
we'll show em'!!!
We went back to the field today to train with our friend Diane, but we got there early so we could just take a nice long walk and then we lay in the grass together, Hallie sitting on top of me and digging in my pocket for cookies LOL...and sniffing the air and rolling in the grass. We didn't want the day to end, nothing better than spending some down time with your kid, it was great. She trained really well again today too, I'm the one with the problem you have to memorize the patterns and how many steps here and what kind of turn there...and the commands are different than in AKC, I keep screwing up! LOL. While we were playing around, I snapped this one of her in one of the blinds, she looks so tiny, I'm used to seeing huge spitting barking dogs in there. Funny because she is the sweetest, gentlest kindest little dog who wouldn't hurt a fly...
Hallie sez bring 'em on!
I love it! Hallie - you're one tough cookie!
LOL! That is so cute! Hallie, you may not be a ferocious doggity in real life, but you play one very well in your pictures!
I love it! When I have the kids in their carriers.....hanging off my shoulders, no less....and they start this barking like crazy...I always tell them...Quiet killer!!
She is such a doll.
Hallie, tough dawg, sweet dawg, cute dawg. You beat 'em all paws down. What a sweetheart!
