Dan and I were extremely humbled by a gift given to us by a neighbor over at the new place. We need to thank them and are having trouble figuring out how, as anything we can come up with seems very inadequate in light of the gift. This is a father and son, both very large men who have trouble getting around. Dan plows their driveway whenever we have a big snowfall and checks up on them often to make sure they are okay. We don't want to give them any sweets, but were thinking of a smoked ham or turkey. If you guys have any other great ideas, please let me know. Thanks!
That's a tough one. Sometimes a "thank you" is not enough. I suspect that anything you do would be appropriate though...
What about a gift card from a video rental place or a restaurant in your area?
How about a nice woolly blankie?
