Title: I know I've been very scarce
Post by: Krista on March 05, 2006, 09:48:23 AM
but I wanted to post and say that I've been thinking of you guys, even though I'm not here as much as I'd like to be.  6 more weeks and tax season will be over and I hope I can be back here more often after that.

Rays and prayers to all that need them.

Happy belated birthday to Max C!

We are fine here.  My trio are all doing well.  Roscoe caught a tummy virus last week, but seems to be finally doing better.  We've now been 48 hours with no vomit!  YAY!

My dad is back at work full time now.  He is responding very well to all his medications and the doctors are VERY pleased. He has not needed any more procedures since he came out of the hospital back in January.  He's been following his low sodium diet, taking his meds as scheduled and resting a lot.  He may even be cleared by the docs to resume some gentle exercise (walking mainly) soon.  Thanks so much for all your prayers and rays for him.

John got promoted again at work (second time in 9 months) so we just keep trying to adjust and manage....

Love you all!

Hi Krista, its good to hear from you.  I'm happy to hear that your dad is doing well.  And congrats to your husband on his promotion!  Poor Roscoe, I hope he is back to his old self soon.  Hang in there during the tax season crazies!!!

Hey Krista!  Glad to hear from you.  Aside from Roscoe's tummy upset, it sounds like your family is doing well.  Congrats to Hubby for his promotion!  Glad the urpies have subsided and that Roscoe is feeling better.

Mark, Madderoo and me were on a walkie the other day (Dolly politely declined the walkie) and I don't know where she found it, but next thing I know, Maddie has a dead (and quite petrified) bird in her mouth.  She says she was going to give it to Rudy Roo, her boyfriend, but mean ol' mommy took the nice (ewwww) birdie away.  Notice I said MOMMY took it away.  Papa wouldn't touch it.  Said it was a "dog thing."   :doah:   So as a consolation prize, Madderoo, the gross puppy, sends dead bird scented kissies to her handsome Rudy Roo.
