......going over to the new house, by myself, and taking a bath in my soaker tub with the jacuzzi jets. He wants me to turn on just the wall sconces on the window wall for mood lighting, then light a few candles to set on the white porcelain tile surrounding my tub, and putting on some nice music to soak by. Oh, and a glass of champagne. If I do that, I will get caught up in the moment, I will end up staying there and sleeping on the guest room bed we moved over yesterday, I will call in sick and..............Last night we went over when we took the last load of stuff for the day, and we sat in our rocking chairs in front of the window wall, turned on the deck lights, watched it snow and drank a bottle of champagne. The thing about our new house is it feels like home, it IS home, and it really wants us to move in and start living there. It won't be long.
I don't even know HOW to operate the jacuzzi tub!!! I need to get with our builder on the care and feeding of my house.
Dan has a great idea and he is being a wonderful husband, but you are right-you would never come home after that! Finding out about the care and feeding of your house would be good. You could always get all the instructions manuals together (OR just the one for the jacuzzi tub) and take them to work with you and read them at lunch. That way you wouldn't all asleep reading them at night! Hope you get to live there soon. Any idea which night you'll be there all night?
....don't know when the first night over there will be yet, but it will be soon.
Did you tell me that you and your husband were planning a trip to Alaska?

Patty, Hopefully Alaska will be sometime in Summer "07. That is the plan right now. It may actually be closer to September, but sometime around then. I'm looking forward to it. I plan soon to sit down and start planning out the trip.
