Since we will have the help of a couple of Dan's co-workers this weekend, we are going to get as much moved over as we can. I'm going to take tomorrow (Friday) off to get all the packed boxes moved to the front entry in preparation for loading into our trucks, and I will pack up as much of whats left over as I can. We don't have a lot of furniture but some of it has to be moved down a spiral staircase, so I am thankful for the help we will have.
We took our doxies over to the new house last Sunday afternoon. They explored the whole house and those 12 toenailed paws were just a-clicking and a-clacking, and echoing, all through the house, as well as the jingling of their collars and tags. It was funny. When those three get to wrestling it will be anything but quiet in that house.
The acoustics in the house as such that music sounds fantastic. Willy's sharp bark, however, leaves something to be desired.
We moved our two deck rocking chairs, and a deck table, into the house. Dan and I went over a couple nights ago after work and just sat in our chairs and talked. It was SO neat. The house really feels like its ours, not someone elses house that we are moving into.
Here's a few pictures from last Sunday.

GREAT PICS!!! Such a beautiful new home with a beautiful couple with their beautiful hounds moving in. LOVE the rocking chairs by the wood stove. I can just picture a quiet evening, you and Dan rocking and the dachsies snoozing by the stove.
How exciting Patty! You are finally moving into your dream house. Doesn't seem real does it.

I hope you have a good move and also great weather. Is it supposed to rain or snow? I really hope not. Have fun! I'm sure you are going to be too excited to sleep, but remember that next week could be a long one if you don't. Can't wait to hear about the kids reaction to their new living quarters.

Nope, no mud, but lots of snow and cold. It snowed 6 inches yesterday and today its clear and minus 10. But beautiful out, and we got a lot done this weekend.
