We've had the nicest few days...now they say snow by the end of the week! Hallie and I have been taking looong walks with this nice weather. We just came in from weeding...there was more picture taking of Hallie than anything else going on though. :thumb:
Run, Hallie, Run!!!! Run like the wind for tomorrow... the white stuff falls from the sky and we freeze.
LucyLu! You got it kid. We live for the moment, seize the day, go forth and conquer!
And if you're gonna do something...jump in with all four feet.
And when you're done being silly, turn back into a Princess and feel the wind in your ears! :princess:
I really love that last picture! So regal! :icon_queen:
Thanks Kari, I LOVE windy pictures...dogs, horses, etc. The only problem with dogs in the wind is they usually have their noses all cranked off to one side or the other because they are sniffing which means I have to reinvent the nose and put it on straight if I'm painting it LOL.
This is the last one, how much do we love our little long dawgs!!!!!!   She is my heart and soul and then some.
Hallie, you are such a pretty little girl!!! The boys just swoon over you! Great pics --- enjoy the sunshine! We had beautiful but cold weather on the weekend -- the sun was out in full force just not very warm.......and then today, it SNOWED~~~~~ got an inch!! Dee, Dave, Sargey & Looie
Ahhh! You got snow already! I saw on the news that you guys were colder than us (as is usual) but I didn't know you had snow. I hope it is short lived we are so ready for spring. Hallie sez to tell Sarge and Looie to snuggle up under the blankies and ride it out! :thumb:
Great pics! We enjoyed the mildest January on record, only to turn around and get nailed with a foot of snow on Sunday. Needless to say, Max is not a happy camper! I'm convinced that once warmer weather kicks in, his spirits will rise accordingly.
It was so warm, the Robins didn't migrate...until last week. I don't know where they flew off to, but they clearly knew that hanging around town was not a good idea.
Dan and I are speechless, what fantastic pictures!!!
Look at that HAIR go or should be that hare.
Go girlie go, love your photos and you mumsy is soooooooo clever.

Sarah agrees! Go Hallie Go!!! :thumb:
Dee Dee, you take the BEST pictures! Someone who didn't know the breed could see those pictures of Hallie and immediately get what a dachshund is all about. What a beautiful grrrrrl you have. Just makes me want to scoop her up and cuddle her!
So........what's your secret on taking such great action shots? (and stills, too!)
David I heard of you guys getting a bunch of snow out there. This is a fickle time of year. Areas all around me got some snow last night but not here, it's a nice day here.
Thanks Patty and Roberta :).
Work those paws Sarah! We'll make it down to Oliver and Amy yet!
Thanks Beth...I take a lot of photos at dog and horse events, for reference for myself to paint from. So I figured, why not see if I can sell the photos that I would be taking anyway, (to the animals owners), to make extra $$, and I still retain the rights to paint from them. Long story short, I sort of fell into the job of being the official photographer at the Borzoi National Lure Coursing in May...and now I'm doing a Schutzhund Trial Sunday, and an all breed AKC show in April (gaiting shots in the ring), etc. So major funds have gone into a bunch of pro camera equipment, we will even have a laptop to download images and a viewing station, and a printer to print them out on site. Yikes! Anyway, having a really good camera and lens is a lot of fun for taking pics of you own baby LOL. (I still have more to learn to get the best shots.)
Miz Hallie BB, you have that carefree attitude down to a science. I need to take a leeson from you. Dee Dee, what LOVELY pictures!
Did you have to give me so many choices for my next computer background picture? Right now I have Hallie in the snow. I guess soon I will have one of her in the wind. I just might have to change the pictures often. I really love seeing the Hallie pics. I found the perfect way to enjoy snow this weekend. I went to visit a friend of mine who is a physical therapist and travels part of the year working short term jobs. She is in Franklin, NC right now and her accomodations are a cabin in the woods on a mountain. There was about 4-5 inches of snow and it was great. We went walking for quite a while on Saturday and then proceeded to just be lazy the rest of the day. The roads were clear in town so getting home (which was only 90 miles SE) was pretty easy.
I have a feeling the snow may miss us here this year, but after the awful ice storm in December, many people will be happy. I still miss the snow and its been awhile since we've had a really good one.
Thanks aunt Sandi and the hooligans!!!
Awww that's so sweet of you Teresa...Hallie Wallpaper! (Hallpaper?) :)
That's the way to spend a snow day...being lazy inside. It's nice weather to visit but wouldn't want to live there too long lol. I am with you, I do like one big beautiful snowfall each year, (then it can go away.) :thumb:
