Well she has been home for two days now and we are settling into a routine. She is still not walking but a step or two and we do her therapy three times a day. She has a lot of control over her back legs because every time I start to do her range of motion exercises on her back legs she tries to stop me by holding them stiff and not let me move them. She can stand on her back legs and get up on all fours by herself. She has gone #2 both mornings on her own and she is going #1 mostly when I take her out. We have a one real accident. Her appetite is good and she sure was looking for squirrels in the yard this morning. The vet said that all of her neurological tests are great, so he sees no reason she won't have a full recovery. He said walking should come back to normal in a week or two. I really hope so. If you can spare rays for a full recovery for my baby, I would appreciate it. Thanks for all the support.

  and   for our Lily girl. I KNOW you can do it, sweety! Nikki, this has got to be really hard on a mommy. Extra  for you for patience and fortitude.
Having "been there" "done that" with my little Kleine, who still is walking with a wobble and is still on prednisone, I truly have empathy for you. Good luck, the prognosis from your vet sounds really good, Nikki!
Rays on the way for sweet Lily to recover quickly and completly. Smoochies to the quad and hugs to their mom !!!! :comfort:
I hope Lily makes a rapid recovery. I'm glad she's home.
That's good to hear. How is she doing now?
Last night I got home from work, got the other puppers situated and got her out of her crate to go potty (which she is doing regularly and on her own) and I put her down on the living room floor by the couch and turn my head just to check out the bedding in her crate and looked down and she was gone! I got up ahd she was trucking half way across the living room. She wasn't walking perfectly, but she was walking pretty good on one back leg and dragging the other one just a bit. I was so suprised because that was the first time she has tried to really walk more than a step or two. I picked her up and crated her again, cause I don't want her to reinjure herself. I was proud of her for trying to walk. My floks are back and I will be hanging out with them in doctor's offices for the next two days. Fun, fun, fun!!! My aunt will be by to take care of Lily and the rest of the gang because tomorrow, Dad has tests from about 10am to 9pm. Thanks for all the rays and support!
More rays for your dad and LilyBug are on the way... Glad to hear the littler pistol is trying to get out and about, even if she's trying way too fast!
It's great she feels good enough to scare Mom like that. She's on her way! More rays and prayers for her, your Dad, and you too. I know it's tough. Hang in there Nikki!
