For once it's not because she ate something or is sick/injured! :goat: She is going in as a checkup to make sure things are still going smoothly since she's been diagnosed and started treatment for her food allergies. Altering her diet has done wonders for her. She doesn't need meds to treat inflamation, because as far as I can tell, there isn't any now. She's not showing any signs of it anyway. I'm excited about being able to take her in to get a confirmation from the vet that she is good. *fingers crossed*
Except for the two pints of tomatoes she's eaten there've been no problems. I think if we keep tomatoes away from her (in any form) she should be good.
The title of your post had me worried, I'm so glad that she is doing well and just going in for a check up! Love those ears!!! Got any recent pictures of Cajsa and Elf?

I'm sure the vet is going to ask how Cajsa is doing on the Science Diet, but she's not been on it for over a month and is doing better. I don't see a reason for her to go back to it. I'll explain that to him then, so it's no big deal. I'm just glad we can take her for a simple check up and well-dog visit instead of having to have tons of tests done! This will be a "cheap" visit! LOL
I'd also love to know how Elies mum gets the emicotions.

Roberta, it wasn't all at once. I had a pint of grape tomatoes on the kitchen table when I left and they were in a goat dog's tummy when I came home! She must've "dolphin nosed" them off the table. About a week later, just as her tummy was getting back in order, she found another pint I didn't realize was on the table. (I'd decided that I'd not keep them there anymore, but didn't see a pint hubby or I had left there.) While I was gone she got the second pint and of course got sick again. She has since been forbidden ANY tomato product or food with tomato remotely connected to it! She's not been happy as she loves veggie red beans and rice, but there is tomato paste in the kind we get. Poor girl.
