Title: Emma my darling girlie.. has gone
Post by: Roberta on December 12, 2005, 12:59:00 AM
Just a quick note. We lost Emma about an hour ago.

Yesterday afternoon, we realised she was walking in a tight left hand circle. We watched her overnight
and took her to Ray first thing this morning. They kept her to-day to run tests etc, but it looked as if it was a stroke or a tumour, and she had lost a lot of neurological functions.
So it was end game.

So the DIVINE MS EM has left the building, we usually said it when she went out to the toilet when she was younger.

So please say a quite prayer for her.

Roberta and gang
When I took the shot yesterday of her she was fine, so we have  a few good shots.

I am so sorry for your loss of the Divine Miss Em, but she is certainly in some good company at the Rainbow Bridge, not the least of which are Johanna-, Lucy-, Fritz-, Heidi-, Gretl-, Siglen-, and Sorcha-Angels to welcome her there, and to play in all the dachsie games!  Godspeed, Emma-Angel!

OH Roberta.

I just don't even know what to say, I was so shocked to read this. Emma was our Queen here, sweet girl...when they go on as long as Emma did, it seems we will never lose them sometimes. I know you and Nick have to be devastated, please know there are many out here who are grieving with you and are here for you anytime you need us. I'm keeping you and Nick and Oliver and Amy in my prayers, as well, of course, as dear Emma who is now with Angus and Ingrid.

Having just looked at Emma's picture yesterday, I had to read the first couple of lines twice to realize she was gone. I'm so glad you have those last pictures and you can know that she is playing at the bridge with all her friends who have gone there before her. I pray that the thought of her being pain-free now will help to comfort you.

I'm sory to hear that Emma has crossed the Bridge.  This year Auld Lang Syne will have special meanings as I think of all my four (and two) legged friends that have gone on ahead.
