Hi, everyone!  I have been watching a mole-type growth on his left leg for a little less than three weeks.  Yesterday, he and Bastian were both licking it and it started bleeding.  I took him to the vet's as a walk-in this morning, and he was admitted.  The remaining upper canine has a fistula, so that is to be removed, as well.  The "c" word was mentioned, so we would appreciate any and all prayers/rays/good thoughts.

Sending extra healing rayz for him.  Let us know how he does.

okay - Dr. Aguirre (surgeon) just called, and he's ready to come home. Poor little guy - he bled a lot from the tooth extraction because his liver functions are off - hence the Demarin he takes for that. He has antibiotics to take, and soft foods for 4 to 5 weeks. He had another "mole" on the same leg that came off, too - and he'll have a cone...thanks for all the rays!

Glad to hear he's home. I know you are probably waiting for lab results. Rays coming for good results.

The patient is doing pretty well so far - he doesn't mind the soft food diet at all.  What he doesn't like, is the pain killer, Tramadol.  He is such a drama king when I give it to him via oral syringe.  He chokes, coughs, tries to spit it out...lol - maybe he's not really in any pain? :verdict:

Glad to hear the "Masterharper" is doing better!

Tee hee, he does play on my heartstrings, all right.  We just had a call from Dr. Betts - the two biopsies were negative!  Thank you for all the prayers/rays/good thoughts.  Dr. Betts said he could discontinue the Tramadol, just keep taking the antibiotic until gone.

His stitches were removed this morning at about 10:30.  He really had a nice long nap upon our return home.  He seems very happy to be rid of the cone. :headbang:
