I heard mommy talking on the squawk box and she said my name and something about a 'pointment.  Hmmm, I wonder if it's a fun thing.  I did hear a walkie was involved.  Do any of you puppers know what this 'pointment thing is?

Mommy here.  It's time for Miss Bon Bon's S-H-O-T-S.  We are trying a new vet who just moved into the shops across the street from us.  I like my old vet but #1 he's very pricey and #2 he's not within commute distance, as I call it.  I don't drive so if this one works out then even in an emergency, if I'm home alone, I can take her to the doc.  So off we go for walkies at 4:00 today for the nasty shots thing.  No Lepto for Bonnie (dLpp) because I don't want her swelling up on me.

TTFN!

Good luck. Sounds a good option for both of you.  That special walkie will mean special treats afterwards, we are assuming..

I had my 'Pointment and ya know what?  The vet gave me a SHOT!  I was very good about it and let him look in my ears and even let him stick the thermometer thingy up my hiney.  Doc Kevin says that for an older girl, I'm in fine health except that he told mommy I had cataracts (sounds like a C-A-T things to me) and to watch my jumping and that I need to (sigh) go on a D-I-E-T.  Mommy asked him about green beans and he said that would be good but even better is to use all kinds of veggies to supplement my FUD.  Hrrrrumph!  I only got a 1/4 cup of kibbles tonight but I got about a half cup of chopped up carrots.  They were yummy.  Anyway, mommy sez I need to lose TWO pounds to get me un-mushy.  The vet guy was kind of nice and sat on the floor at my level so I could sniff him.  He and his wife said I was a very sweet girly.  I didn't even grump (much) at Brooke, the resident Golden Retreeeeeeeaver.  Mommy says that she likes this place and that it's close.  Hope I don't have to go very often but it wasn't that bad.  Maybe they could get a resident C-A-T so I could chase it around.

Yeah, Reilly just got her rabies on Saturday and she weighed almost 15 pounds.   :doah:  She needs to lose about 3 pounds, too.  I don't even want to weigh Winston-I'm very afraid he's almost 16 pounds.  I'm so glad summer is coming-we all need to get walking, except for Murphy, who is on walkie restricton.  Best of luck getting the extra fluff off of Bonnie-hopefully won't be too painful.

Nancy had a unique way to get the weight off of Twinkie.  Nancy was in a wheelchair at  the time so walks were out.  She took the bowl of food and sat with it on the table next to her and through each piece for Twinkie to go get.  Twinkie took the weight of quickly.

This is what I use for Schatzi. I put out about 1/4 to 1/3 cup in the morning and it lasts her all day. Schatzi is definitely a grazer. It does seem to keep her full better than any other food,

Patches never grazes even bought her a break bowl since she inhales all food.
