Awww - Kissies to Ms. Penny.  I know my trio also love a good sunbeam.  Rudy seems to be my biggest sun-worshipper though.  He is also a red smoothie.

Oh Penny, you lucky pup.  The answer is NOTHING is better than a San Diego sunbeam.  Ms. Bridget is jealous.  We have our first snow here and sweater or not her belly gets cold.  As much as I love living back home in MT, I have to say I miss San Diego almost as much.

Bridget says,  I wanna go to San Diego, we don't have da sun here right now.  How'm I apossed ta get a tan?  I gotta go outside to pee and my feets get cold and wet and I don't like it.  I don't.

To dachsies, sunbeams are the best!  My crew is a little grumpy  this weekend.  It's been cloudy and rainy.  No sunbeams here!

Awwww!  Penny looks A LOT like my Dolly!  :apls:  Both my girls LOVE the sun beams and while Maddie will roam around in the yard catching hers, Dolly will plop down and do a perfectly executed Doll Sprawl to get full benefit of those sun beams.  Oh, in the kitchen, we have a skylight and I have to move the rugs around just so to get the best coverage for them in the sun beam department.  LOVELY pics.  LOVELY Penny.

BTW, do you notice that after your hounds are out in the sun, when they come in and are all warm that they SMELL like sunshine?  I love that smell.

beautiful girl - I wish we got more sun exposure.  In the rooms the girls spend most of their time, sunbeams are only available for a short time each day, and Angel just loves them.
