Update #1: The Herd and I love to read two blogs on the Internet, and on Monday of of my favorite doxies, Maggie passed away. The blog is at www.dachshundlove.blogspot.com and I encourage everyone to stop by, shed a tear or two and leave Joey, her littermate and Uncle Carson, her hoo-dad a condolence note.

Update #2: Dr. Leaky is under the weather. I noticed tonight when he came to dinner, he wasn't his chipper, bouncy self. he ate his whole meal, but he cried in pain when I tried to massage him, so tomorrow it's off to the vet. :comfort:

Update #3: Aima has a persistent cough. We went to the vet, got a 7-day dose of antibiotic, and will also go back for a potential x-ray. So my plans to move to Israel is still set for February 8th (hmm, that date sounds familiar!) unless the vet bill goes  through the stratosphere.

So Send some rays to Baltimore and I'll keep you posted!

:director: Another update - Dr. Leaky had what is referred to by his ancient but very wise vet as a "crick in his neck." I gave him some deep tissue massage, while he was eating his dinner, and by morning he was back up to some of his old tricks. He's still moving gingerly, but he's on the mend.

Everyone keeps standing around wondering why Aima keeps coughing. The x-ray would cost $190, and $120 worth of bloodwork hasn't revealed much, except they don't know why she's coughing. Dr. Haupt, the lady vet said it isn't bordatella, the heartworm was negative, this number is a little up, that number is a little down, blah, blah, blah.

I think I going to buy a Lotto ticket.

Hilde and I are sending some rays your way.  Hope the babies get better real soon, and you can find out what's wrong with Aima.

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.
