Reagan - One Month Old Photos

As promised, here are some updated photos of Miss Reagan at one month old. Dave and I went to see the kids and I took photos for them at her one month milestone. She is really beginning to fill out. She is still tiny but growing.....newborn size clothes are still just a tad big on her! But with each visit, we see her growing and it is so fun to see the changes in her. She loves to swing her little arms and hands around and her little legs and feet has some real strength when she pushes against you.

Dee - the pictures are wonderful !!! She is a beauty !!! Love the family picture.....and it sure looks like Grandpa is going to be a pushover :thumb: Now.....we need you and the baby !!!!

Grandpa is already a pushover! And, Reagan is only a month old! Others will have to take the camera away from me to get pictures. Next go round, I'll have someone take them of Reagan and I. There was a lot of excitement in the house on Thursday when we were there......Sean was offered and accepted a teaching contract at one of the local high schools which is only five minutes from their house! He teaches high school social studies, coaches debate teams, and is also a tennis coach. Cassie is substitute teaching Kindegarten through 8th grade and hopes soon to have a full-time contract for teaching. There is a strong possibility for her to land a long-term sub teaching job for a Kindegarten class starting in October. Which would work out great as it gives her more time with Reagan. When they are both working, Reagan will be with us.

We have been MIA for a while and I missed the earlier pics, congratulations to you all! What a cutie-pie she is and so tiny. Those poses are gorgeous - we reckon Reagan is gong to be a flamenco dancer with those perfect moves.
We loved the family pics too. Dave is looking well and the perfect Grandfather.

Dee - that is awesome about Sean's job !!! Sounds like all is working out fine for the whole family !!!! And they are all lucky that you and Dave are so close !

Dave & Dee...I completely missed the post of the birth of your baby grandaughter!..My goodness what a sweet baby girl she is. She's just beautiful and I love her name...what is her middle name?
You must be so proud and overjoyed with her. What do the boys think of her?...

Barb, Cassie has an interview for a permanent half-time (mornings) kindegarten position at one of the schools here in the valley! She interviews tomorrow and will know by tomorrow night if she got the job. If that is the case, then she will be busy the rest of the week getting her supplies and room ready. Sean starts his teaching job on Thursday.....and Cassie would officially start on Tuesday. Cassie is feeling a bit bittersweet on this position coming so soon....her thinking was about October to start subbing but this is a permanent position. Her emotions about leaving Reagan this early are pretty up there. But as I told her, this would be mornings only so she would still have her afternoons and evenings with Reagan. We'll support her no matter what! So Reagan may be with Grandma and Grandpa soon......at least in the mornings!

Hi Cheryl......Reagan Arlene Flaherty arrived 3 1/2 weeks early! She wasn't due until August 19 and arrived on July 25. We are so smitten and overjoyed with her. She is a sweetheart and a good baby. Reagan will be spending time with us when her mom and dad are working....we are her day care. We are thrilled to do so. Have her room all set up and we have the car seat ready to go along with all the other stuff that she has at Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids came out today and Sarge and Duggie got to meet Reagan. Sarge at 12 1/2 years old....could care less. He totally ignored her and slept the afternoon away. Duggie, on the other hand, is enchanted with her. He was very gentle with her when it came to looking at her....he licked her feeties and when I was holding Reagan, he layed gently next to me or on the floor right next to my feet. When he wants to sit next to us, he asks by sitting up and looking at us...never just comes up....he asks permission to do so. He watched Reagan with gentleness....if she fussed, he would go and sit at your feet and give you the look of you need to take care of her. I see Duggie being her "protector" and ensuring that she is taken care of....in a very gentle way. When they left, he went all over the house looking for her. He went into her room, gazed at the bed looking for her, looked out the window, he was missing her. I told Dave that next time when she leaves, we need to make a point to say to Duggie and Sarge that Reagan is going bye-bye and she'll see him later. It took about an hour and a half for him to realize that she was gone and we were hiding her! Dave and I kept telling him that Reagan went home with her Mom and Dad. Dee, Dave, Sarge and Duggie
