Marcia from MI

Danni here,

It's been so hooootttt the last few days that da mama won't let me go outside for more than two minutes and she times it.  Anyway yesterday it was tewwible and I was panting so da mama picks me up AND PUTS ME IN DA SINK AND DOUSES ME WIF WATER!  She told me it would cool me down, but I only felt wet.

Marcia here,

We do have a room A/C and have had it on all the time and it has been cooler, but yesterday it got really horrible and Danni was panting terribly so I put her in the bathroom sink and poured cool water over her(Sam and Eddie loved it), but Miss D hated the whole idea and made me take her out ASAP.  I thought she's give herself a good shake, instead she rolled herself dry on the couch.  Cleo kitty isn't faring too well, she was having trouble getting around, but since it is a few degrees cooler and lower humidity she is acting  more like herself.  Stay cool guys it'll be fall before you know it.

It really has been awful the last week and yesterday was the worst.  Today is much cooler, but even still, we've spent a lot of time inside in the a/c.  I can't imagine this weather without our air-poor Danni.

It's over a 100 here. Parker has a "cool" coat. It's like a shammy, you soak it in water, and put it on him. It's amazing. We use it a lot because we are always in our pool and Parker insists on being with us instead of in the house by himself. It really keeps him comfortable on the hot days. He doesn't pant or show any signs of being hot.
