I got recent pictures of all the girls in the last week and thought I'd share.

Tiny little first born, Tanga (only 7 pounds).

Second smallest, second born Junie (8 pounds)

Third born, not quite 11 pounds, Kali.  Kali is singled out and just needs her two major wins to become an AKC champion.

Fourth born, also just barely under 11 pounds, Cricket.

Cheryl

Soooooo sweet Kathleen...My little Sadie just turned a year old the other day...she's just under 8 pounds...she's so tiny compared to my other 2 girls.....they're 11 pounds and 12 pounds..

Thanks so much.  I'm so happy that all the girls are turning out nicely, are healthy and most important, all in happy homes.  Junie's my mom's baby-she's just a mushy puddle of goo when my mom loves on her.  It's adorable.

Aww, thanks.

Barb, to become an AKC champion, a dog needs 15 total points from at least 3 different judges and two "major wins".  Points are determined by competition, so in my area, you need to have 2-5 girls in competition at a particular show for a single point, 6-9 girls for two points, 10 to 12 for a 3 point "major win", 13 to 17 for a 4 point "major win" and 18 girls or more for a 5 point "major win".   Kali has 12 points, but they are all in the one or two point category, so she needs two more wins of the "major" variety to become an AKC champion.  It's AKC's way of making sure champions are, for the most part, worthy specimens for the title.
