Da mama needs sum rays

Danni here, Da mama is having pain in her right hand and can't do much of anyfing. She is wearing a splint, but is still in pain, so pwease send her rayz.

A few years ago I suffered through a bout of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome which eventually went away, but has recently returned, with a vengeance. Since I only am able to use my right hand and arm it takes the brunt of torture and is more prone to Carpal Tunnel. About 2 weeks ago I started to get pain in my fingers and now it encompasses my entire hand and wrist making it difficult to do some things. So it's been my return to wearing a splint and taking Ibuprofen to kill the pain. The big problem is that my paperwork has to be done via computer so I have to pace myself with work, which is fine with Danni and make sure I keep up the meds to kill some of the pain. That's it, Danni won't let me alone and makes sure the hand is kept warm.

Sending rays!! I sure hope your hand gets feeling better soon. Typing is awful for the hands. Do you have a wrist guard thing to put under your wrist when you type? I got mine at Walmart and its kind of a beanbag-like filling. It helped me a lot when I was working on my medical transcription classes and would have to type 12 hours a day. It was fairly cheap and they have gel ones too. I know it won't make a huge difference in the pain, but it might help a little bit to try it.

Also had Carpel Tunnel surgery bilateral Dr thought he was bing funny told me no one loved me enough to do both surgeries at the same time. Hugs and Mega Rays coming to you that is no fun to have.

So sorry you're hurtin', Marcia. I don't have wrist or hand pain, but the ol' back makes me know what pain feels like. Hope you find relief soon. In the mean time, you'd better send Danni to a computer class so she can help you keep up on your boards and such.

Danni here,

Da mama is doing better and she stayed home all day wif me. After she did her work we took a long nap because I woke her up at 4:30 becuz I wanted to give her a kiss. She told me that tomorrow and Sunday she has a couple of qwik jobs to do then its me all the time. AND she said that after Turkey day she will be home more wif me, I luv that.

I've started taking some anti inflammatory meds and they seem to be helping and I am finally able to close my hand. Danni is right I am going to cut back on my out of home work and concentrate on the database work I signed up to do. It doesn't pay as much, but I won't have to drive in the snow and ice. The database is great and I have first glance at all the upcoming art, craft and music events. Anyway I am feeling better and hopefully it will continue. Thanks for all the rays they sure did work.
