I'z berry cited cos mum is takin me sumware tomoroe to get me a spade! Dis iz a bit silly cos I duzent weally need a spade cos I duzent dig dat much in da garden but mebbe it will be berry gud to chew on?

Hee hee Trissy izent gettin da come wif us eether, we habs to go in da morning becos my spade is gonna be so speshul we habs an apoyntment for it and eberyfing!!!!

Whole thing sounds a bit fishy to us.  Perhaps it is a seaside spade?  Just remember, Mummy knows best, if someone asks you to close your eyes and go to sleep it will be so you get a surprise when you wake up.  Hope it is a good one!

It is warm and sunny here now so I think your Mummy is getting you a bucket and spade so you can come and share my beach with me here in front of our home where I play with Islay every day.  I think your Mummy knows I would rather play with you than with my sissy who is always dreaming of Trissy.

Barrrroooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!

Dis morning had been a disaster! First of all mum forgots to gib us brekfast!!!!!!!!!!! I couldent believe it, she jus came down stairs and we said good morning den she said come on den we're going foraride. Well I fought maybe we was going out for brekfast insted, so I went along wif it but I kept telling mum in the car dat she had forgetted to feed us. Den she too us to dat V.E.T.!! Well we dus get a sweetie wen we go there so I dident worry too much as I fought maybe it was a banquet or sumthing dat the V.E.T. was giving for all da pets dat dey torture! Hmmmm well we went in dere and I'm not kidding dis lady stoled Ivy from mum, she jus got a cuddle from her and den dident give her back!!! Mum neber even noticed! We got in the car wifout Ivy and drove home and mum dident even remember. Wen we gots home I refused to get outa da car but eben den mum dident notice Ivy was missing. I was sitting dere gibing her the look and trying to tell her we habs to go back! Den it was ok cos I gots my brekfast BOL and den some cuddles wif mum and it was nice not habing Ivy chewing on my ear and making me groan. Hmmmmmm but den mum said since it was just us we'd habs a spa day, well dat sounded good until she started running the baf. Well usually we habs a shower so I guess it was special and I got nice rubs. Now I am habing the last rawhide chew, it's been sitting dere for ages cos dere was only one. Wen I'm finished I'm gonna see if I can remind mum dat we needs to get Ivy back cos I dus miss her a bit.....

Hi Tristan, how could your Mummy lose Ivy??!!!!  Perhaps she was a little dizzy since you all went out without breakfast.  It´s a good job you helped her drive home safely and kept an eye on her in the bath too.

We reckon Ivy must be having a bit of special one-on-one spoiling at the V.E.T. spa too.  We know you must be worrying because we do if ever only one of us goes somewhere because it usually means V.E.T. too.  Islay says if Ivy is having what she thinks she is - Islay did at 5.5 months - then remind her to stay still and not jump or wiggle too much for a few days.

It´s a pity you are not coming to the beach today.  I have just had a little swim - very refreshing - and Ivy was lying there in the sunshine with no bikini!  Brazen hussy is what I say.  Mummy says they don´t make bikinis for dachsies but I´m not too sure.  You don´t need to worry though, I stood in front of her and guarded her so nobody could see her, she is still your perfect Princess.

Good move on the rawhide, you deserve it for taking care of the ladies, perhaps Ivy can have something special later on when you and your Mummy go to find her.  We hope everything goes well and send you loads of belly rubs, extra-gently to Ivy, and hope to see you soon.

My little sister is back!!! Mum left me behind so I dunno where she found her but she must hab had a very busy day cos she is pooped! She is so tired she can hardly keep her eyes open. Now, I gots to complain cos not only did mum forget brekfast but wen Ivy got home mum gibbed her sum eggies and I dident get eny! Well, I mebbe got a little taste but mum sed I'd already had my dinner. She came home wif her teddy but I dident see a spade at all so I fink she was twicked OR dat lady who dachnapped Ivy stole her spade mebbe?

Gail here: Ivy's a sleepy little pupster right now. She refused to have any food from the vets but wolfed down a little scrambled egg. She is now napping under the blankies xxxx
