Not particularly. He is probably frightened by all the changes and very disoriented. Remember, you knew what was going to happen, he did not.  It is always a good idea to keep up to date with tetanus shots anyway, especially those of us who love animals and gardening too.
Btw, he looks very contrite up there on the quilt...maybe he just need to ge used to you being his loving pack leader and supermum.
Male wires are well known for all their excesses. Red is no different but I wouldn't change him for anything in the world.

Mr Wilson nipped at me while his foster mom did my home inspection. Seemed to me that Mr. Wilson was about half wild when I got him. I spent lots of time and attention on him. Got him properly socialized...and he's been stuck to me like glue ever since. I couldn't ask for a better dog. It just took a little work.

I find it usually takes a week to 10 days to get them settled into the house. And usually about a month to see their full personality

Congratulations on the new baby!

I missed your post about getting a new member of your household I guess.  First of all, Congrats!!  I'm sorry you got bitten, but I think he just needs some time to settle in.   Bandit was a BIG biter when he first came to our home.  His previous owners were horribble to him and he was terrified these new owners and their dog wuld be mean to him.  Our older dog Brittany was very patient with him and was a great teacher.  He would try to attack her and she would let him know it wasn't okay.  She shared her toys and food with him to let him know she wasn't a threat.   Once he was used to the family his biting dissapated.  I'm not going to lie, he does still have some aggression issues with strangers and is possessive of my mom, but he has improved immensly.  Patience is the most important thing you can give him.  Good luck and I hope he gets over his fears quickly.   Hoping your home will be a good fit for him too. Sounds like he needs lots of loving, poor Ollie.

DEAR RUTH & OLLIE,
:thumb:
I HOPE THIS WORKS OUT FOR YOU.
REMEMBER, PADDI BITE ME, PRETTY HARD, WHEN SHE HURT HER BACK.  SHE LOOKED LIKE SHE FELT BAD AFTER, & THEN, SHE FORGOT ABOUT IT.
I JUST HOPE OLLIE FORGETS, ABOUT BITING. IT MUST BE AN ADULT DOG THING.
WE NEVER HAD TROUBLE WITH THE PUPS. HE MAY HAVE HAD TO FIGHT, FOR  HIS PLACE, WITH ALL THE DOGS, WHERE HE LIVED.  HOW IS HE, WITH THE DOGS IN THE COURT? OR HAVE YOU INTRODUCED THEM? :grommit:  LOV BERYL & PADDI
