Greetings to all from snowy Greenacres!  It snowed yesterday for almost 24 hours which resulted in 12 inches of snow in one "sitting"!  Sarge and Duggie are NOT impressed, nor am I since I was out about every three hours from 5 am to 9 pm clearing an area for the boys to do their business.  It snowed a bit more after we went to bed so this morning, I was up and out clearing their area in the back which this time included a path around the yard (using the snowblower for that job), other clearing (deck, etc) was by shoveling!  I also cleared the front deck and parking area and walkway.  Then this afternoon, I took some pictures as the sun was out and it was just beautiful to look at.  As one of my neighbors said as I was walking by......"out taking pictures, huh?  Yes, they are so beautiful to look at.  Yea, he says they are beautiful....but I would rather view them via a photo rather than in person!  Hawaii is looking pretty good right now!"  So, the boys said to post some pictures of our snow.........Schatzi...Sarge and Duggie said to tell you that your mom and dad should do a path for you....and that their ramp is covered (top has a "roof" and that and the sides are covered with plastic to keep the ramp part dry)...and mom shovels the deck and another area for them to walk on.  So, with that, here are the pictures.....a portion of the path for the boys (it circles the yard), Sarge in the path and Duggie in the path......note the height is higher than they are.  Duggie was down at the far end from the deck and you could only see a speck of him!

A portion of their pathway along with a bit more grass to allow them an area to do their business!

It's always nice to know that there are other people out there who have to shovel their yard, too!    I have the "racetrack" pattern set up for the Zs when it snows...mine is not nearly as long as the one in Greenacres, then again the Zs try to spend the minimum amount of time exposed to any element that has water in it...either frozen or "regular".

Yeah, that's my story an' I'm stickin' to it!" :exactly:

I'm doing much better with dachshunds and rabbits."

That view from your window is just breathtaking! I would want to sit with a cup of something warm to drink and just stare at it for a long time. Not conducive to getting much work done!
