For those who are interested here's an update on my former basement kitty.  As I have written earlier Snickers has suddenly become a very social kitty much to my delight.  She now cuddles up with me if I take a nap on the couch, sharing the space with Danni, who is sometimes pushed off the couch if kitty wants more room.  The other weekend I picked up a pizza and had my dish with a slice sitting on the ottoman when suddenly this little C-A-T stood up and tried to chomp down on the crust and steal the slice, luckily I was quick and prevented the robbery.  And finally kitty is taking treats from my hand, but I have to be careful she has very powerful jaws and losing a finger is not out of the question.

This is such an amazing transformation story. I still wonder what the catalyst was for the change in her. I would love to see pictures of her with Danni!

Teresa I talked to my vet Dr Cindy and she said that Danni might be the cause of the transformation because she was so tiny when she came home and didn't bother the kitty that much.  Also when Snickers was sick last Winter Danni was the one who cleaned her ears and the food off her fur.  So I say it is the love of a puppy that turned her arond.

That is so sweet!  I'm glad to hear she's doing so well.

I think it is time to lose the somewhat pejorative moniker "basement" and go for "Snickers Kitty."
