Back to the vet for Parker

On Thursday it cooled down and Parker ate up. He seemed lively and chased a few squirrels off the property. Last night he threw up 3 times, and had horrible stinky diarreah. He also appeared to be in pain, and was stretching after he vomited. Not good.
Well at 11:00 at night it was off to the emergency hospital . Mores tests - it seems he now has an acute gastro issues.  On an IV for a few hours and now he is home. Got some pain meds, stronger antibiotics and meds to coat his stomache. He is just laying on the couch but that may be his pain meds.
I am giving him pedialite with an eye dropper every 15 minutes and forcing his pills.
He did eat a tiny piece of chicken just now out of my hand. He hasn't vomited since last night.
I think I am in for a long long weekend. Yikes

Oh no! We are familiar with those tummy issues too it's no fun. Praying Parker feels a lot better soon and you both can get some rest!
