Now that both girls have been diagnosed with bad backs, I am trying to figure out a way we can share a happy nappy  and NOT have to a) put the bed on the floor or b) tether the kidz to the sofa.  Anyone out there have an aerobed?  I am thinking of getting one for the back room, so we can all (yawn) get some rest together. Any reccomendations?

Will they use a ramp?  I know Cajsa didn't want to at first but now she does at least 85-95% of the time.  If she's really excited about something she will "forget" and simply launch off the bed, but generally it's not a problem.  Her back problems have been treated with rest and meds and she's only had one really extreme instance where her leg didn't hold her up and she sat without being able to walk.
Not too sure about anything else except to just lift them up and "hold" them while you nap.  I"ve done that with Cajsa - just resting with my arm over/across her so I could feel when she tried to get up.  That way I could put her down instead of letting her do it on her own...

Yep, we have a aerobed.  We have been known to camp out on it for days at a time.  I would recommend getting the bedtop pillow thingy (go to Bed, Bath & Beyond) that's like a eider down pad.  It will cut down on the cold air from the bed itself and is verrrrrry comfy.
