Lost an old friend a couple of days ago, she showed and bred really nice dobermans, I've known her for many years, I was shocked to hear she passed away apparently she had cancer for many years and told NO ONE. She was a great lady always with a smile, she will be missed. :(

So sorry to hear of the loss of your friend.  Remember the good times and what a great person she was.

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.

Dee Dee asked on DT (Doberman talk forum) but did not get a reply on the request knowing she had cancer I'm sure she provided well for her dogs maybe family still as them.At least with a disease like cancer you have time to do things like make arrangements for your Pets.Sometimes if you suddenly pass on you may not have arrangements. Very sorry for your loss it hard to loose friends.Papbouv

Thanks you guys I guess she had cancer for several years without telling anyone, so yes I'm sure the dogs are provided for. Has to be an awful feeling knowing you will be leaving your dogs...

That's pretty hard to hide such feeling and discomfort of illness without sharing it to others, yet she was able to smile. So sorry for your loss...
