Earlier today the cable guy came out to switch out my Internet modem so I put Danni in her crate so she couuldn't help and I also put her baby in there with her.  Well, about two minutes ago I saw that Danni was trying to get her baby out of the crate, not through the open door, but through the bars of the crate.  I sat there very quietly watching AND this smart puppy of mine did get the baby out and did it by pulling it through the bars.  Of course my Flip video camera was in another room.

Guiness Danni's baby is a stuffedpurple bat sge got for her first Halloween and it can squish through the bars without getting hurt, plus the door to the prison was open.

That is too cute and very smart! I can't quite picture it though is it a wire crate or vari kennel and did she push it through the bars and which bars? What a good girl! It really is too bad you didn't get a video of that it would have been a keeper!

DD, it's a wire crate and I pushed the bat into the crate through the bars so she wouldn't be alone when the cable guy was here.  Funniest thing, the bat was laying down on the crate floor and Danni kept moving it until she was able to grab her baby by its wing and pull it through the bars which gae a space of 1.5 inches wide and 4 inches high between them.  And now the camera is sitting on the end table just in case.

Ha I can just see her doing that! Clever girl! And yes you always have to have a camera on hand with these guys, still they seem to time things so you juuuust miss it....
