Thunder!

Its been awhile since we've had a thunderstorm.Poor Simon is just curled up in my lap shaking away.Looks like I have a little buddy for the morning.

Hi Simon!  This is Bonnie.  I'm with you, buddy.  Stay curled up with your papa.  I don't like any loud noises and thunders sound really really loud!

It was funny.  If we were outside, Rudy & Max would charge in the perceived direction that they thought the thunder was coming from...which was usually wrong.   During night thunderstorms Rudy-angel would back up against me and sit up in his "alert" pose.  I could feel Rudy trembling in fear, but his instinct to "protect" overrode that fear. 

Zeke is completely scared of thunderstorms, and he usually starts cowering before the thunder is audible to us hoomans.  Zora will sometimes bark back.   The earlier he starts to cower, the more severe the storm.
