I was looking as I do throught the Australian dachshunds and I always keep an eye on Chipal (my two's breeder) when I came about this

Go down to the pedigree on the right hand column Chipal Against Allodds thats Oliver...............................we go him at 16-18 months Colleen had taken him back after his first owners went overseas. I called her and Yes its my boy. Also called Helen and we had a chat, he has just got his championship, and thought it was funny how I had sound out.
Oliver when we first got him, trouble had a name back then too

 :meme: WHOA!  WHOA!  WHOA!!!

I don't speak OZ-tralian!  Who is Helen, are you saying that Oliver is Chipal Against All Odds, and he just got his championship??

I didn't know Oliver was competing in show!

I think I'm confused too?  Are you noting that his grandson is showing?  Or are you saying that Oliver is a champion?  Because he doesn't have the Ch in front of his name, so I wouldn't think he's finished?

David C.

Actually, it would be Oliver's great-grandson.   Ollie looks too young to be a great-grandfather already.   I think it's great that Oliver has progeny out there.   Hopefully the "sandwich short of a picnic" gene has diluted over the generations, LOL!

The Zs do not have any direct progeny, but I am sure there are a bevy of great-great nieces or nephews out there.

Wow! Oliver is a...father, grandfather, great grandfather? That must be something to discover, I can imagine if I found out Hallie had kids out there how it would feel. Any chance you will get to see any pics of them?

Geez Roberta, that makes you a Great Great Grandmother!!!  :headbang:

I replied to this and it just disappeared?????

I was sort of excited when I saw it so a bit duh in the post.
Aunty Karen and KAthleen,  Olivers KCC registration is Chipal Against Allodds. I called Helen, Chipal Amazing Races owner AKA Sprocket  (Colleen Corneilsen kennel name is Chipal and is the breeeder) and Helen said Sprocket had just got his final points to champion last week -end.

Nick and I might watch him and how he goes and maybe down the track look at getting a pup of his.

Oliver is coping with the news well, and hoping no one sues him for maintance, hehehe

Wait till his human nannie finds out, as she never managed to get any grandkids or great grandkids out the humans

ps Amy's KCC is Chipal Miami Beach

Awww.  Isn't that nice that Oliver's name and bloodlines are in that Champion boy's pedigree?  He'll live forever there.

I forgot to mention-love the picture of him on the dishwasher-with his feet trimmed up, you can really see how nice and tight, and well arched his feetsies are.

Gail

Well I know, it is not like us Scottish folks to cohabit with the English! (I jest of course, my beloved other boy ie not Tristan but Simon is English and he considers ME to be foreign!!!). Ivy (the dog not the plant) is a little English dogger, a hooligan some might say on account of today's incident and all of the others. She is so naughty. I will post a picture in a moment!!!

Love Gail, Tristan and Ivy

Ohhh love that pic of the three of them! Angus was a stunner. You can tell who has seniority which is the one of the three with his nosie off the bed LOL!
