Hello everyone!  Been a crazy year and a half for us since our move to Virginia Beach from Wisconsin.  Finally settled in - and I think we might actually LIKE it here...LOL.  The dogs both have HORRIBLE  allergies (scratching, chewing).  Kirby actually bites his toenails, and Sol has lost some hair on his paws.  I am giving them Benedryl, but of course they are stubborn.  I tried following "no lickin'!" with a treat, but that just turned into "lets lick, then mom will give us a treat".  Oy Vey.  Hope everyone is well - saw the picture that DeeDee did of Dee's trio - absolutely amazing.  What a talent she has.
So...as summer rolls around the King will be 13 and Stinky Baby Dog (aka Kirby) will be six.  My how time flies.

Hello Sue and  Sol and Kirby!  Kirby, are you really SIX??? 

My Madison (aka Madderoo) is an elderly 12 1/2.  Sadly, she is quite deaf and very senile. She still loves her lovin's but I think it's just a matter of time.....sigh.  The joys of an elderly dog....ouch!

We also now have Bonnie who came to us at the plucky age of 10..we think.  She is Maddie's opposite and one wouldn't guess she was a senior citizen, now 11 or so, with her bouncy Bonnie ways.  She is also quite the alpha girl and has had to learn and Mommy and Papa are the boss, not her.  She can be grouchy at times but usually a good ball session up and down our hallway nips that in the bud or a nice walk....when Mommy isn't feeling lazy.  A smart cookie our Bonnie is and loves the belly rub.  A real hussy.  She likes Maddie a lot but will boss her and bounce her if she isn't supervised. 

Glad you checked in.  We miss hearing Sol and BSD stories.

See the vet for some prescription meds for them itchy feet.  Benydryl did nuthin' for Loki.

OMG! Sol is 13 and Kirby is 6 already? I can't believe how time flies......I just read about a new product for allergies I can't buy it here but may order it online. www.herbsmithinc.com they have a product called Clear Allerqi anyone ever use these products?
