dis is Parker: dere is gonna be a big giant weddin at da end of da month. My hooman sister is coming and she is bringing goody four paws Amber. She is a 90lb weiner dog dat Momma says is a lab.  Den da Amber is goin to stay wif us for a week while da sister goes to Cuba. I'm nots sure I like dis idea. Amber is always sucking up and bein good, although she lets me snuggle wif her. She does not wip around da house, or chase balls in da house. She jus sits dere and looks sad. She lets me eat her suppers, and she doesn't pee in da house. Momma says she gets to go to da park ebery night cause she needs outdoors exercise. It's too cold for me to go to da park. hmpf!!!! I is not invited to da weddin!!!!!!!!!!!! Not eben goody four paws. We has to stay homes, and somebody is going to come bisit us an let us outside to do our business. We is also gonna get tweats, oh and da suppers. Amber alweady has a big giant bed in da family woom. I fink I might pees on it so she knows who is da boss!!!!

Now Parker that would not be nice you need to show visitors how nice you are do not give the Dachshund breed a bad name only do good by her.

What kind of wedding does not allow Dachshunds, small or large?   I think there is some UNFAIRNESS afoot.  We should protest!  We should have a Call to Action!  We should stage a hunger strike!

There have been several weddings where the dog is the ring barer and one on Animal Planet had a Bulldog as a usher  showing guests to where they were to sit. So you should see if you could preform one of those duties.
