Amy
mum here the little @#%$% and friend ran it to the fence, it had mixomytosis so it is blind. Not harmfull to dogs. She would not drop, let go or anything, it took both of us to open her jaw  and when I carried her up the hill she was not happy , and doing the "LET ME DOWN" stare and wriggle. She has always been our hunter so it was only a matter of time till she got one. Poor Nick had to kill it, he hates doing it.
This is the face of a natural born killer, looking at it butter would not melt in her mouth...................

It's that "Thousand yard stare in the eyes" that gives it away. :violent5:

Just doing my job putting that poor little bunny out of its misery would have done it by myself but for some reason the humans just could not see it my way after all Dachshunds are hunting dogs.Know how you feel me & my big brother Buddy gots us a Squirrel I had it and momma called me into the house so I went into the house. Then Buddy gots the squirrel momma told him to drop it then had daddy go out all he did is throws it over into the brick yards be hinds us what is wrong with humans what a waste of a perfected good bunny & squirrel us dogs knows what wes suppose to do its in out genes.Patches

hmmm, when Zuzu caught her first mouse I had no choice but to give the "kill" command. This is a play command that means: "Shake the stuffins out of that squeaky toy, girlfriend."  After that, she learned the rest on her own.

It was my own fault, too, that first time, it was ME who lifted the rock so the mouse was exposed.

Amy's doin' what she was bred to do, but poor bunny to not be killed outright.  On the other hand, Amy might get the idea that bunnies are delicious, and then you have a whole OTHER problem on yer hands.

Didn't we have a "Things my dog has eaten" thread.  I believe Rich's Stormy-angel won with a bird.  *blark* :puke:
Shakespeare : "To thine own self be true."
Popeye:  "I yam wot I yam."
