Dis is Danni and I am confused.  Dis morning mom asked if I wanted a cookie and I gots all 'cited and followed her to the kichen.  She gots one of the cookies out and den locked me in da kichen.  Two seconds later she opens da kichen door and says "Danni find da cookie."  I ;ooled at her and said "what?"  Momma den told me to find da cookie, so I runned around the living room looking for da cookie and she kep sayin "you're cold, you're cold, oh you're hot, you're burning up AND  dere was da cookie on the bottom of da bookcase.  So I gwabbed it and ate it before she could hide it again.  It's not fair I'm onwy 5 months old.

Marcia here, Sam and Eddie loved to play find the cookie so I thought I'd start Danni on the treasure hunt game.  At first she didn't know what I meant, but once she figured it out she had a blast.

That is so clever.  We could never play that at our house because, while the "finder" was searching for the cookie, 3 other dogs would be eating it!

It worked with Sam and Eddie really well.  They would wait patiently in the kitchen with the door closed, then when it opened they would go nuts trying to find the treats.  And they did learn the difference between hot and cold during the hunt.

hahahhahha GOOD GIRRRRRL!  :hello2:

At our house the cheer goes like this: "Find it! Find it!  Useyersniffer!!!!"  and then their sniffing gets audible and kinda frantic--so funny.  When all the cookies are found I give the "game over" signal and a YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
