Happy Gotcha Day to my sweet baby girl !

8 years ago today, Princess Brandy came into my life.  We had had Rudy for 8 months and wanted a companion for him.  Found her with Central Texas Dachshund Rescue and arranged for our home visit and Brandy was going to come with.  If all worked out well, she would get to stay 

I was a nervous wreck and took Rudy for a walk.  As we rounded the corner coming home, Brandy and her foster mom pulled up.  Rudy and Brandy sniffed noses outside and then we headed inside..... Off they went !!!!  It was a great match from the very beginning. Needless to say... Brandy stayed that day !

She came from a puppy mill situation, and I have tried my best to treat her as a Princess since she came to live with us.  She will soon be 14 and has always loved a good snuggly blankie. She is my precious girl and I can't imagine our family without her 

So Brandy honey, Mommy loves you so so much, as do Rudy and Toby.  I look forward to your kisses each day and my heart swells when I say "Lets go nite-nite" and you run full speed down the hall and up the ramp to the big bed and your pillow !!!
