Eric

We have Koby and Tiff under our care.  We had a great meeting at the dog park in Tampa, but it was a little crowded there, so we all walked over to a more quiet spot to get aquainted.  I know Jarrett is going to be upset for the next few days while he adjusts to his loss.  Please send him rays his way as he will be going through a troubled time.

Koby and Tiff are just beautiful!  The ride home from the dog park was comical.  Four puppers looking out the windows nose-arting them all up.  They are settling in well.  They are both in the living room on the couch with Libby and Sgt.  I will keep everyone updated on their progress and may start a blog so that everyone can see how they are doing.

They're so beautiful!  How are Sgt and Libby adjusting to their new friends?

Eric

Surprisingly, Sgt and Libby are doing well with their foster sister and foster brother.  They both did a serch around the house checking it out and had a fun time running aroud the backyard.  Libby is staying right on my lap watching both Koby and Tiff.  Going to busy in the house getting used to four doxies that all need love.

God Bless You, for fostering Koby and Tiff!  They are just beautiful -- I can just picture the ride home and all the lovely doggie art on your windows!  I'm sure that Sargeant and Libby will get along just great with Koby and Tiff -- I truly believe that there is the doggity communication between the puppers and they know the story and what the situation was!  Looking forward to hearing their progress!  Belly rubs to all the puppers!  :thumb: :apls: :apls: :apls:  :angel4:

Koby and Tiff discovered the cats...Note to self....make note in diary that cats and dogs sometimes don't mix.  Feel bad for the cats.  Not only getting it from two dogs (Sgt & Libby), now from Koby & Tiff too!  You should of seen the look on Toby cats face when he realized there were four dogs!

Here's a picture of a doxie pile on Julie's legs..

At least we know which one is Koby, the hair is a give away. I suppose the other three don't look that much alike do they??????

Koby and Tiff must be beside themselves with joy being out of that awful crate and having a momma's lap to snuggle on.  As for the cats they'll adjust, but be careful if they start sneaking treats to the dogs - my Cleo use to sneak oatmeal cookies to Edie & Sully Angel and then act like she knew nothing about it.

So glad these two finally have a chance to lead a real dachsie life THANKS Eric & Julie.

Leslie

YAY YAY YAY!  A foursome!  Since your lap is full you'll just have to give up cooking and cleaning.     They sure fit in well; they look clean and healthy and just gorgous.  Koby looks like Zuzu at about nine months before her coat fully came in.   :hello2:  for you and Eric.

Eric

Koby and Tiff used to lead a dachsie's life before the "Murphy-era" I am taking it.  They are two wonderful puppers that love to sit next to you on the couch, and run in the back yard.

A quick look at Tiff and you'd mistake her for Libby.   I already have...their faces look similar.

Yippee!  I'm crying like an idiot here!  LOL!
They are just beautiful and I love the picture of all of them on Julie's lap!  One of the things that I thought was particularly gorgeous about Sgt. when I met him was that he has the most beautiful coat I have ever seen!

Julie , Eric, GOD BLESS YOU BOTH!!!!!!!  I am sooooo looking forward to meeting the two of them!

Hugs and kisses to EVERYONE!

Are the girls having fun??????????

Ya, I am so glad there are with you guys.  Eric, those dogs look too comfortable together on Julie's lap, they want to stay forever!  As Barb puts it "Happiness is a plie of doxies".  Keep the pictures coming and good luck.  You guys are wonderful! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Great pictures Eric!  It was wonderful meeting you guys and I'm soooo glad the puppers seem to be getting along well.  Thank you for taking them into you home.  I know that they will love it there.  Please keep me posted on how things progress.  Let me know if you need anything.

Thank you to everyone else that has sent me rays.  Its been a very difficult time for me but I'll get through it knowing that Koby and Tiff are with wonderful people!

OHHHHH, just look at the smile on Koby's face in that pic.  I have to admit that that looks alot like my idea of heaven.  Julie IS right.  Happiness has to be a pile of doxies ON YOUR LAP!  You two are great.  Looks like all the kids are adjusting.

Dianne

I'm so glad to hear that everything is going well and the puppers are getting along!  That is a lovely pile of fur-kids  :thumb:

Love the picture of them on Julie's lap. Thanks, we needed that!  :apls: All four of them are so cute! I didn't realize Tiff was a female...Koby is a male then? Poor kitties than goodness they seem to have the ability to fly vertically up when needed. All four sure are beautiful doxie puppers.

We're glad to see that Koby and Tiff are with you.  I'm sure having Sgt. & Libby around will help ease the transition (not unlike how Rudy eased Max's transition when Max was given to me).  How old are Koby & Tiff?   My senior weiner Max, a red himself, wishes that all four reds are blessed with the same kind of longetivity he has had

Emily reminds me of my ex-girlfriend (the operative word being "ex").   She would blast me for how poorly trained both Rudy & Max were...blah, blah, blah,...the complaints being almost identical.  She was probably right, my dogs were poorly trained.   I was a few years younger than Jarrett, Rudy was 2, Max was 5.   Ultimately, the reasons we split did not have so much to do with the way she wanted to control dogs as much as it was she was trying to control my entire life.   It was all for the best, as within six months after I dumped her, I met Margie.

Margie had legitimate issues with Rudy (Rudy was very aggressive towards her, even biting her), but she never tried the "it's the dog or me" argument, even though she had good reason to.   Margie knew that  someone you love should never make you give up something you love.

Thanks you guys for taking Koby and Tiff in.  I really worried about them.  I'm so relieved that they will be loved and cared for

Guys! You rock I am so glad that nothing happened to them before you got them. I will send Jarrett healing rays. I hope that he gets stronger and learns from his mistakes because I am sure this is a huge one. I know my husband can be controlling as well but the one area he knows better than to touch is the dogs and my rescue work. All the puppers sure look comfortable on momma's lap. Koby and Tiff may have found their forever home:)

I love the picture of them all sleeping in Julie's lap.  The best part of that, is that Tiff is front and center as though she has been sleeping there her whole life.   Those two couldn't have been too bad, if they are adjusting to that kind of lifestyle that quickly.  How wonderful that all four dogs are getting along so well.  Poor kitties though.

What a wonderful thing you have done by giving them a place where they can be loved unconditionally again.  Poor Jarrett, he must be so sad, and for what?

April

That pic of all four is perfect!  How are they adjusting to each other?  It looks like things are pretty smooth so far.  Thank you for taking them in.

Wonderful pictures! What's the story on why you have them?
Manny&Blusky the Illinois resident puppers says to say Hello to all 4 of them.
Where about's in Tampa are you if you don't mind me asking? My family and I have a time share condo in Orlando and some very good friends in Spring Hill Florida not to far from Tampa. The next time we're down that way I could look you guys up,because I talk to Julie quite a bit in weiner writings.

Eric

Koby and Tiff were needing a home.  Not going to go into the full details of it, but you can read the posting about them in the Adoption/Rescue area.  We...well, I decided that we should provide a fosterhome for these great puppers.  So on Sunday, Jarrett and Emily came down to Tampa from Tallahassee.  They are great little puppers.  Instantly doubled my doxie population in the house.  Lots of wagging tails and happy barks in the house now...it's great!

YEAH!!!!!!!!
I'm new here & it took some diggin' around to figure out that situation.
I'm so thankful that you have taken the dogs in & they have a home.
I thought about them all weekend.
They all look so happy.

Jarrett if you're listening, I know this was hard for you.
Be assured you did the right thing.  Anyone can see
you loved these dogs.  Try not to beat yourself up over it &
realize that for now this was the best thing for all of you.
Hugs to you!

Just got back from vacation and am catching up.  Eric and Julie, you are AWESOME!!  So glad to see those puppers are safe and sound!  Jarrett, thank you for letting them go.  I know it's hard for you, but it really seems like it's for the best.  Eric and Julie, please keep us posted on their progress.  Again, THANK YOU!!  You are my heroes!  BTW, I LOVE that nestfull of weiners that Julie has on her lap.  Nothing like a quad "situation".
