How do you put pic in profile?

How do I put Ellie's pic in the profile? ..... I tried using URL from my hosting site.... doesn't seem to work.

Ruth - which hosting site do you use?   I have mine in Flickr and it wouldn't take a full size picture - I had to use the thumbnail.  Try that and let me know if it works.....we gotta see Ellie !!!

I have been using VillagePhotos.
It's not working yet ...... I'll keep trying.

I an putting       " http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2004-10/862451/PottedEl.jpg"
in the URL spot .... is that correct?

the link looks right - but do you have a choice between a thumbnail version (smaller) than the full size?  The thumbnail may have a different address.

The key is to stay within the avatar restrictions 100x100 pixels. You can upload the images to your gallery here and use the thumbnail it generates as your avatar.  :thumb:

I will be posting several "How To" threads when I get home tonight so people don't have to keep strugling with the same issues. :doah:

Ok we did it ...............
according to the "logged in time" ..... it took 4 HOURS and 27 MINUTES ........ maybe, just MAYBE that little bit of information is something I could do without!!!
