Poldie the PinCushion

Nearly two months of traditional medicine has not helped Poldie at all.  He still does not use that back left leg.  Since there is nothing more that Dr Goode can do for him, Kevin and I decided to try the holistic vet.  Leopold had his first visit and treatment there on Wednesday.  He had acupuncture, chiropractic, and some sort of Japanese touch therapy--can't recall the name.  The doctor said it can take 2-3 treatments before we see results, but after one treatment Leopold was using his left foot a little bit.  Not a big improvement, but a noticable one.  The doctor thinks she can really help him.  He will go there twice a week for a couple of weeks. Once he is walking better he will have some sessions in the underwater treadmill to rebuild muscles that have atrophied these past few weeks.  I hope this works for him!
