Acute sinusitis

And that was yesterday at the emergency room... today, the boys decided to chew through the wooden fence into the front yard while I was here, and go exploring... next thing I know, the neighbor across the street calls to ask me if I have two dogs... so I round them up, place them under house arrest - which means the girls are, too, and head off to get my aunt so we can run her errands and go to lunch.  I have 10 days of Amox-Clav (antibiotic), 10 days of Sudafed - otc, but 2 pills three times a day, and I can take Tylenol for pain.  I also use Breathe-Right strips at night.  This was my first sinus infection, so the next time I feel like I am wearing some huge superhero mask that is pushing into my skin, and it feels like my teeth are being pulled up and out through my skull, I will know what it is!.  I was fine until Thursday night, when I felt a bit congested.  Friday afternoon found me in the emergency room.

Rays to you, Julia!  And, I'm sorry that the boys chewed their way out!  The little hooligans!  I imagine the girls are not happy that because of their brothers, they are all on under house arrest!  Hope you start to feel better soon!

Hope you feel better soon, have you tried a eucoplyptus inhale it sometimes helps to empty the sinus.

Man you have been rained upon! I hope that was your first and last sinus infection. I'm glad you are on the other side and taking meds to get over it. Those silly boys don't they know mom already needed a break! At least everyone is OK.
