I love how Haliie seems to be put out with having to sit by the cat, but at the same time is obviously doing it for mom.

Katie she is so patient with her Mom! She loves the kitty, she was just a bit put out with the people trying to get him to stay put! Afterwards I was holding her and Patch came up and was bumping his head into hers really hard and rubbing his body along the side of her face until his tail curved around her head, then he'd turn and come back and do the same thing. She was doing her best to pretend she wasn't in the room. I was rollling. It's a good thing she works for food..

Love the cat ones, I think Ms H puts up with a lot. I never get over how alike Amy and Ms H are particularly the view from the back. Yesterday I took a photo of her back to the wind, she had a but part, but the little stinker squatted as I took the shot so I could not post it.
Pearls are so in Haillie, the hair gel I admit is not, but did you get a treat with it.

I always think the same thing when I see pictures of Amy. LOL a butt part! I've seen that before too LOL I just hadn't a name for it.  Funny girl Amy squatting at just the moment.

Does her hair stand straight up on it's own like Hallie's does? That first pic with the pearls those are her ears...they will stand straight up too with no help they defy gravity. I tell her she could poke an eye out with those spikes.

The first cat, Patch, and Hallie are old friends. She loooves the kitties she really missed Simon and Sophie when we lost them. (or maybe it was their food bowls and litter boxes she longed for!). Patch is 17 lbs and Hallie is 12....

I think the Summer pictures belong on cards. They are great. Can I use them as a screensaver when I need a summer reminder? The cat ones are hilarious. You can truly read Hallie's thoughts in those. I think they may be some of my favorite Hallie pictures I've seen in a while.

First of all, I must say those are amazing pictures!!!  Secondly, Patch looks exactly like my sister's cat Patches!!!   Their faces are a little different, but all the spots are on the same places of the body as Patches.    The summer pictures are great!  I also really like the pictures of Hallie with her pearls.

Of course you can Teresa. I may use it too when the weather gets yucky I love the other seasons but I realllly hate winter!

That's funny your sister has a Patches like this Amorette. This Patch's name is two fold, his spots and also he is blind in one eye. Someone dumped him and some kittens years ago at their place and his eye was injured then. Patch is an awesome cat very dog like and friendly he and Hallie are buddies when we are there they stick with each other and Patch always lays down next to her when we are on the couch.

LOL Katie no she never was and that is why I have her. After I lost my last girl, Jessie, it was so horrible I swore no more dogs ever. But I was miserable without one too. I went for 4 years then one day someone dumped these 3 doxies at the shelter during the night. I took them home to foster them. I found a home for the boy locally. I couldn't find good homes here (and boy did I try) for the girls, so thankfully Rich and Deb were looking for a pup and I flew to Iowa with her. I had found a home with Delia's help for Hallie in Texas and was supposed to fly out there two days later with her but after I got home from taking Sophie, I knew I couldn't give Hallie up. They were around 10 months old at the time and I kept saying to Hallie, just do SOMETHING bad so I have an excuse to give you up! She wasn't destructive, she didn't bark, she was totally house broken, she was sweet and loved everyone, she was playful and funny and really smart  and obedient (she has several obedience titles) she doesn't even shed or have fleas! I sure wish I knew where she came from and what her lines are. We are guessing she and Sophie are sisters but not 100% sure. I am so glad now I kept her of course, she is my whole life but the day something happens to her will be the end of me too!

Kathleen

The look on her face is absolutely priceless in the first picture.  Such disgust!!!

As far as her lines go, something about her reminds me of Wagsmore dogs.  Their website hasn't been updated in the last ten years, but you can go look at Tommy (Wagsmore's Captivating) there-he was their foundation stud many years ago-I think he's about fourteen now, so it's entirely possible that he's Hallie's daddy.  Wagsmore dogs seem to universally have lovely coats and fantastic personalities.  If she is from their lines, I'm sure they would be horrified to find out she ended up at a shelter, too.  They might be able to identify if she is from a photo, and I'm guessing you might have a few to send them

Lowriders in Ohio

I love the picture of Hallie with the sunflowers.  She is always so beautiful.  Hallie has totally changed my opinion of longhairs.  I have always been partial to the smooth coat because you can see the long lowrider body better.  But Hallie is so pretty that I can see why people love the longhairs.  Your pictures of her could definitely be on calendars.

LOL Mike I just spit berry cobbler on the back of Hallie's head!

Thanks Lowriders, they are all wonderful aren't they. I grew up with smooths, then I got my Jessie (standard longhair) and she was soooo easy to train for obedience, and Hallie has been the same way. My smoothies were easy to train for tricks and so smart but not as willing to follow thru in the ring LOL. Plus the longs I've had anyway have been mellower and quieter and less fiesty than my smooths (which is endearing also and not a bad thing at all but better for obedience). But under the different coats they are all our sweet little doxies. And longs aren't as hard to groom as people think Hallie doesn't shed at all and is pretty much wash and wear most of the time when I brush her it's because I want to not because she needs it. I do love the longhair look also she has the same hair (and nose!) that I do! Or did...I just had my hair chemically straightened (wow! What a dif!) so now when we get out of bed we no longer both have hair standing every which way!  I love the looks of the smooths too though and also the wires are so adorable. They are like Forest Gumps box of chocolates!

LOL Kathleen poor Hallie really is very patient with me. Very interesting thought about Wagsmore! I really should send them a pic. One identifying thing on Hallie is the white scar on her nose. She had that when I first got her, now it's blending in with some "grays" (whaa!). You can see it though mid way up her nose horizontal kind of my vet says it looks like a dog bite possibly.  I can't stand the thought of her getting hurt and not having me there to protect and comfort her. She has pretty nice comformation but she is quite straight in the rear (stifle to hock). She used to have a level top line but as she's gotten older she is getting the ski slope up the back some. Everything else is pretty decent though so she may have been from a show line like this. Her coat though is not correct LOL but I love it it's so "her". It's like a spay coat very cottony. My aunt has a pet bred Hallie clone puppy and his coat is smooth and shiny and thicker like it should be. But you can get anything in any litter the most important thing to me anyway is temperament and health I will definitely contact Wagsmore thanks for the idea!

Poor Hallie! Hey, girl, we all have our cross to bear. Yours is your mom!  Seriously, she really is a good girl. I don't think I have a favorite of her. They are all so good. The flower ones are very pretty. You really can read her mind on the cat ones ... "Put your butt in the chair and smile! We're being pretty!"

LOL you put me on the floor with that one. Very true though LOL! I think Elli and Chloe probably have the same gripes on Mall days ROTF!

Yeah hey maybe that's it Hallie may be thinking that is the cats face and is going GADS that's an ugly cat!
