Due to Ms Amy's back etc I don't take her sometimes on walks as she may have ran like an idiot at home or just having an of day, so I leave her with dad. She sits at the font door behind the sceen and waits. Whne I get back of late Oliver goes into hyper whing and barks when we hit our drive way, and gets ever frantic till you lift him out and generally dad lets her out, they then spend 5 min humming at each other an kissies running all over the place. You would think they had been apart of days not an hour.
This pair are the most bonded of all the dachies we've had, you never find one without the other touching or leaning against.

I can believe it from the photos we've seen of them. They are adorable together. I still can't get over the one of Amy using Oliver's side for a pillow. You have two very sweet kids!

It truly is so great having multiple dogs that get along with eachother.   When we aren't home, they sleep together and keep eachother company.  They play together in the yard and even sleep together in bed.  Each dog likes to be touching mum plus one other dog.  I would highly recommend getting a friend for Finnegan.  Our 4 are such a joy!

I agree, I'd think this would be a great age for Fin to get a sibling. I have never wanted a second, and Hallie at age 9 we are so set in our ways it would break her heart. But each one is different and when young like Fin is I'll bet he'd love a brother or a sister! It would be constant entertainment for sure.

yes multiples are better, we would love another but two is enough to cope with walking and Amy having back problems etc The games etc they get up to is hilarious, for example we had Amy's pup Ingrid who used to hide under the bed, dart out nip Oliver, then run back under the bed, he would try and get under barking the goofy way they do sometimes, she would come out the other side of the bed and run arround and go back under, he used to get so annoyed as he was to big to go under and slower than her. In the past few weeks if Amy gets under the bed he barks at her to play, which scares the bejesus out of her as she does not what he's on about.
Get another  you'll nevr regret it

Oh im trying!! My boyfriend wants to wait untill we move into a house, because right now we are still in a condo. But its not tiny so i am bringing it up more and more.

He didnt want a dog in here in the first place, and now he loves Finnegan to death.

Fin loves other dogs, especially ones smaller then him. Chihuahuas mainly i have noticed. He has only met one other Dashie and she was a cross, and he went NUUTS for her.

Ooooooo im tryin', wish me luck!!!!! :xfinger:
