My friend Sandy was showing Hallie the white flowers in her yard today. Hallie loves Sandy and gave her her famous "Hallie hug".

Patty it's great to hear from you we were wondering where you had gone to! How are things going and how are the boys?

A Hallie Hug is I hold her up carefully so she's sort of upright and I say "Give Mom a Hug!" and she will flop her head and neck down across my shoulder, like she is to Sandy in the photo, and she lets out a big sigh and just nestles right into you. She will stay like that for the longest time. She knows the difference if I say give mom a kiss she does and if I say give mom a hug she does, I mix them up and double up on one and she always (usually!) does the right one.

I do think it was the way you were holding her Delia it was different than mine the lady who cuts my hair also can't quite get it right and always get a hug out of her (she's gotten a few quick ones) but she keeps trying. Hallie sez COME ON DOWN and she promises to give a hug! As long as you bring everyone with you! :thumb: (move in next door maybe??) Heh.

I think so too Kelly maybe one day if I ever get caught up!

I just love these DeeDee. Hallie has such soulfull eyes and of course, your talent brings out the absolute best in your sweet girlie! I just love the hug..Oscy does the same and it just melts my heart every time.

Hallie looks so beautiful amongst those white flowers. You always have the nicest pictures of Hallie. She is so photogenic. That last picture of the hug forced me to go hug my boys.
