My 3rd Birthday Party

I mean in three days...not that I turned 3! Mom sure wishes that were the case though.

First is my birthday cake....some cake! I didn't even get to eat any of it. *fume* They gave me a poor substitute of a cake made of special yummy canned food, eggies and a cracker "candle". OK I guess it was ok but I could have eaten that whole chocolate ice cream cake on my own. By the way, that's me in the oval chocolate piece on the top. Oh and we didn't light the candle because I'm sorta terrified of smoke...

To make it worse Mom made me sit there and stare at my "fake cake" while everyone sang the Happy Birthday song...and then my aunt Kathy had to sing it again in Latin!

I ate from my pink bowl that says "Princess" on the bottom...someone special here might recognize it! 

Then I started opening more presents.

You'd think all presents would be good wouldn't you...but no, I got a cap and a scarf! Can't eat those they just make people laff at you! You can see my cousin to the right of me in the third picture laughing at me already.

I also got a pad with seashells on it for when we go to the beach! I liked sitting on it...but then Mommy put on my DOGGLES and I couldn't see a thing 'specially since she forgot to take the stickers off the lenses! Luckily my Dachtor says I only haf to wear them in the bright sun.

Yeah yeah, everyone wants their picture taken with the funny dressed dawg...

I had lots of fun though, and opened all my presents myself, my Grandma got me a pink octopus with crinkly legs and some nummy tweats. I also got a really soft green blanky and a smaller soft blanky with a monkey on it since Mom calls me Monkey Turds all the time. I been nappin' today but Mom hopes I am up for opening my Texas box tonight if not tomorrow! I like to drag these birthday things on...

Thanks Aunt Nikki...it's been a wonderful three days of birthday doin's! I'm still sleepin' so I don't think I'll get into my Texas box tonight darn it Mom was hoping we could but tomorrow for sure.

You will notice someone says oh a squirrel on the porch right outside the big glass sliding door but I don't get too excitged about them especially when I am opening prezzies I jes' ignored him but it would have been a different story if he'd come near my prezzies!

OK Miss Hallie know your Mom does not cook but she could cook this in the microwave. You get a microwaveable big soup cup take a small amount of lean hamburger&/or ground turkey, or both,one egg,carrots,anything the pupper likes and can be cooked like a meatloaf cook until done. I would put a paper towel over the top of the cup do not want any grease any where.Take some more paper towels lay on a plate turn the meatloaf out on the plate lined with paper towels if any grease you want to get rid of all you can.Icing cream cheese fat free if health conscious you can take small dog cookies or biscuits to decorate the top of the dog cake.Of course if the  guest of honor is to have more four legged guest you can make the meat loaf cake as big as you want you can also add oatmeal to stretch it out some.
Funny story:
When I worked at the hospital I always worked nights one of the nurses wanted a dog cake so I made one. Someone on days or evening shift ate most of the dog cake.This nurse & I were ornery went went up to the desk talking a little louder than normal talking to each other "Wonder who ate Jazzy's cake that was in the refrigerator every one knew Jazzy was the nurses MinPin. Of course nothing in the dog cake but people ingredients.Bet they thought twice before stealing food out of the refrigerator??? Papbouv
