Wez getting some new neighbor's below us, and dey hab free doggies.  Jazzy (not sure what she is, kind of looks like Benji fwom da moobies),   Nahla a chihuaua, and anodder chihuaua ( I fergot his name)        Anyway....We were bisiting wif dem since dey are jus' moving fwom acwoss da parking lot.     While mama was holdin' me, one of da killer chihuauas jumped on mama's leg.  NOT KEWL!!!!  I let her know I was NOT HAPPY!       Den she ran back to her ma.     Abter dat, mama 'pologized and took me home.    She said, "You naughty boy!!!"   

Den last night wez was waiting fer my gwandpa and gwandma to come bisit.   While we were outside, Jazzy ran up to my mama and jumped on her leg to be petted.   I got so mad at her, I bited my leash and was snarling!!!     Mama sez lucky she was holding me or I woulda got her good.    I don' know whaz happenin to me, but when I seez anodder dog by my mama, Iz go cwazy!!!!   :crazyeyes:   

Mama sez I'm pwedjudice cuz I don't mind da doxie by her.    Why's dat i wonder????       I feel bad fer how I acted and it scares me whenz I gets so mad.    Mama sez to ask iffen you hab any ideas to help me get along wif dose free cuties.   She finks we could be good fwiends iffen I learn to be nice.  One of da pwoblems is, I'm on a leash and dey run fwee, soz I feel twapped.    Mama knows it doesn't help to hold me, but she doesn't want me hurtin' da neighbors.        I always cry and mope abter I act like dis.

Goodness Porky you will never get a grrrl friend that way. Do what I do, if the boyz get on my nerves just give them the cold shoulder, look the other way and if you don't see them...they won't be there. Of course much of the time they might turn out to be fun and will play some with you and sometimes you can even score a tweat from their moms. Do you know how to sit and stay? Maybe your Mom could put you down on the ground and hold you good and have a tweat in her hand and when you grrrrowl at the pup you could get an "AH!" from Mom and as soon as you turn your head to look at her and stop your grrrowl you get a good boy and a tweat. Tweats are always better than "AH"s.

Fin Says: I used to get really nervous around ofer dogs, so my mom would hold me untill i calmed down then puts me down to smellz. Sometimes (ifn da doggie iz smalls enough) my momma picks HIM up and lets ME smell him first. Or else she jus plops right down so we bof can sits on her. Sometimes i dont like it and look at da ofer doggie funny but my momma jus makes sure to keep petting me lots sos i dont gets jealous. She also always say "S'ok Fin" and acts really happy about meetin the ober dog so i do too!! I like ober doggies lots   

da Dog Whisper on da teebee says dat when a doggie is like dat is cuz he finks he is da "Pack Leeder" and wants to protect you. Sos your momma has to show dat she has da situation umber control. Which (unfortunatly, and im sowee to say dis Porky) she might hav to dis-a-plin (gasp) you. Not meanly, just "inturptin your behaviour" but tuggin your leash a bit and making a sound so you dont fixate on da odder puppy.

I dunno ifn dats helps but i hope so! I wants you ti hab lotsa friends Porky! Dey are SO MUCH fun!! (My buddy is a Bee-Chon -Frreeshie.. or sumfin like dat.>Shilo is coo he runs FASTl)
