Marcia from MI

My name is Danni short for DanielA and I am the newest member of Marcia's household.  I am what is called a Pineranian - my mom was a Min Pin and my Dad is a Pom X and they are owned by Marcia's cousin Debbie, who doesn't understand puppies or dogs for that matter.  So when my mom heard that there was still one puppy left, me, she said she'd give me a home so I wouldn't have to go to strangers.  But I'll let momma tell you the rest of the story, I need a nap.

Marcia here,

After Eddie went to the Bridge I was sure I didn't want another dog, not right away anyway, but after reading about all the dogs here who went to the Bridge recently and seeing all the dogs in NYC and missing my boys I called my cousin Debbie up when I returned from vacation and asked if there were any puppies left.  She said yes 1 little girl, but they wouldn't be ready to go for 2 to 3 weeks which was great for me.  Well, Tuesday I talked to my aunt and she told me that Debbie wanted to bring the puppy by her tomorrow and I could pick her up.  Okaaaaaaaaay, but isn't the puppy too young I asked, yes but the mom isn't bothering with them any more, but in all reality I think it was my cousin who didn't want to be bothered, so I said yes I'd take her.  After talking to my vet Dr Cindy and getting advice on what to do with a 5 week old puppy I brought Danni home yesterday.  She's a very  good puppy, and is really working hard at potty training.  She loves to cuddle and does have a good appetite though she really doesn't care for dry food - she's too young.  She cries for about 5 minutes at bedtime then falls asleep until 3:30 AM and so we get up, she pees and goes back to sleep while mom does paperwork or reads.   The cats really don't mind her except Snickers doesn't like to be groomed by anyone especially a puppy.

She is the sweetest thing and cannot be more than 5 feet from me or she cries.  I left her on the floor in the living room to get some paperwork from the office in the next room and wjen I returned she was proudly sitting on the couch waiting for me.  She had climbed up the slipcover and made herself at home.  She will not be spoiled, she will not be spoiled, she will not . . . oh heck who am I kidding.

PS  the funny spelling of her name is because I named her after my favorite reporter and CEO Dan Abrams.

In case your cousin wants to know all puppies need to stay with their mothers & siblings until 8 weeks old they learn bite inhabition. It is hard for a human to teach that too a puppy helps socialize the puppies just a more well rounded puppies. How old is Danni she is very cute Good Luck with your new puppy.

Handle every "Situation" like a dog.
If you can't eat it or play with it,
tinkle on it and walk away.
