but I had to post it anyway. Randy saw this today on this website and I knew someone on here would love it. It is a little pricey, but cheaper than some of the stuff we've seen. I absolutely love the poem.

I thought someone would have to purchase it. I'm hoping Randy will do the same since he found it and we certainly could use the bookends! I love the Levenger catalog. It always has some great stuff in it.

Oh, how adorable!  But it is so unfair that the bear is $68.  Sigh!  No bookends in sight for me, either, with two more dachsie mouths to feed, soon.

I've been eyeing this covetously for awhile now.  I love Levenger - I have a couple of their pens, which write BEAUTIFULLY - and I always eagerly browse their catalog when I get it in the mail.

Alas, I cannot afford it right now (I owe Scooter's vet basically all my money for the forseeable future) but I hope someone can get one!

How can anyone not like you for that?   It's AWESOME.  I'm pretty sure a FAKE dachshund can handle stairs, although impressionable dachshunds may need to keep away from it, in case they get ideas and give in to peer pressure from a BOOKEND. :2funny:

I found something similar during my many browsing at work sessions, here is the link for these book ends...http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=25289855&ref=sr_gallery_4&&ga_search_query=doxie&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_page=17&order=date_desc&includes[]=tags&includes[]=title
These are great bookends and she also offers a dachshund decorative birdhouse!

A doxie bird house?  Isn't that counterintuitive?
