Another year, another dental

The Zs had their dentals today.   Good news all around:  no extractions and both now have shiny teeth and fresh breath.

I really have to do better with them and the brushing.   With Rudy-angel in particular, I was so conscientious that he was able to make it to age 10 before he needed his first dental.  Max-angel was almost as good, going about 5 or 6 years was his longest stretch and then he had two of them in the final 5 years of his life (one at 13 one at 15 1/2).

Zeke took the vet staff by surprise.  When they took off his collar, he just bolted into the back and began running amok through the whole vet office until he cornered himself behind the reception desk.   Zeke is always quite the character.  Zora was trying to use the confusion to make a bolt for the door and back to the car.

It's amazing that as dissimilar as their dispositions are that the Zs really get along the way they do.   While Zeke carries himself like an alpha, when push comes to shove, he defers to Zora, even though Zora is a fairly submissive female.
