We heard things got a bit rough down there today.  I'm pretty sure that you are without power right now, so once you get back online, please let us know how you fared with Wilma.

We heard from my sister, who lives about 20 miles north of Mack.  Their house made it through with minor damage and all occupants were safe.  The outside light fixtures on either side of the garage were torn completely off their mountings and simply disappeared.   My brother-in-law was able to patch up the holes once the storm broke.  They are still without power and said things were definitely "a mess".

Not MAck - but he did check in via e-mail with Kari.  He IS out of power, but was checking in at work, where there are generators.  Hopefully he can check in tomorrow - and I hope all the other Floridians do also.  Glad your sister and family are safe.

I tried to IM Mack last night on the situation with the two dachsies that are in need of a home.  Glad to hear that he is okay.  It was pretty rough.

Terri - Kari e-mailed him about the same thing.  He said that both Emily and Jarrett have checked with his organization and they are working on finding open space.  Now with all the horrendous weather - not sure what he might be able to come up with.

I haven't been on the boards too much lately, but I've been thinking about Mack and am glad to hear that he is ok after the Hurricane.  My Goodness, the Gulf coast has taken a walloping this season!  Rays and prayers to ALL our doxie families who have been affected by the hurricanes this year.
