Weinerfest in Thamesford

dis is Parker.....is my birfday and I went to weinerfest. Dere was at least 1,000 weiners dere. All my fwnds. In da waces, Momma puts me in da starting stall. I gots my own space. When da whistle blows, da gates open and all dem oder puppers ran away. Da fans was cheering, and I was kinda scarred. I just stayed wight where my Momma left me and waited for her to come back an get me. I don't know why all dem odder weinies ran away. 
When Momma came back, she held me up an everybody cheers again.  :meme:
Momma says I did good, an I gots lots of smoochies. I fink i won da wace cause I got a weally big bag of goodies, and Momma says she was weal pwod of me!! 
I also gots a "cool" coat. Dats a coat dat you dunks in water, and it keeps ya cool. But your furs doesn't gets wet or anyfing. Momma is gonna post a picture of it. It was weal hot today, put I wore my coats and stayed cools all day. Dere was a wot of wienies wearin dem. Dey sold out of dem coats cept da pink ones.
I also gots my picture taken, and gots a backpack for me to sit in when I gets tired, and I gots a hat, and I gots a bawoon buts I bwoke it, and a wittle doxie to destuff and wots of goodies.
Momma and Daddy ate hot dogs, and had icecweam.
It was da best birfday evers.

Oh Parker, what a wonderful birthday!!!  Sammy and Oscar wish they had been at the Weinerfest to celebrate your birthday.  You sure had a lot of friends there.  Sammy and Oscar want me to assure you that you certainly won that race, especially if all those people cheered for you!   :apls: You deserve a great day - you are such a cutie. 

You mentioned a backpack.  Did you find a backpack especially for dachshunds?  If so, we would be very interested in getting one.  As you know, we have been using a backpack for Oscar that is not specially made for dogs.  We would love to get one with the right support for him if there is one out there.  Maybe I could find the vendor online.  If you can give us any information, we would certainly appreciate it.  Also, I can't wait to see the water coat.

Wow sounds exciting bet you were one tired pooch when got home winning the wiener race and eating all that good food.Really interested in seeing our cool coat since its 100* degrees and up thats not counting the Heat index thingy makes it go up to 103* -109* where is fall we need fall so mom can take us walking.Too Hot to walk anywhere now we would melt.Patches
