We closed yesterday on a new construction home so will be packing up and moving in the next few weeks!  No steps which is great for Duggie and Dave and for me, also!  When we get the keys on Monday (closed late last night), Duggie will get to visit his new home.  He knows something is up......all these brown boxes are in the house just waiting to get filled.  We have been in our current home for 16 years......lots of memories but time for a place with no steps.  Our current house will go on the market when we are moved out.....Here is the new house......

Backyard is fenced and the front windows will have Duggie's "perch" so he can look out.  Corner lot and much smaller yard (which I love!)

Looks GREAT for Duggie.  That is who you bought it for.....right?     I know what you mean about steps.  I can do our mobile home steps but if I go to a house with steps and a rickety rail or no railing, I'm in trouble.  I rarely do stairs anymore and am a turtle when I do.    Your new house looks marvelous.  Will you be renting a mower monster so Duggie will get his exercise?  :2funny:

Lookin good Dee, is it far from where you are.
So its like ours on a slab, we still found the door steps a bit high for Amy, so we got recycled wheelchair ramps made to suit the height of the door step, they were not bad for price so we got them for all outside doors. Also so helps with us getting older.
Do you think he will miss the big mowers...........................

Funny how they know somethings going on.
photos please when you move

Very cozy house.  Congratulations.
There's nothing like having a dachshund tongue up your nose at 3 a.m.

I am so happy for you.  Ollie didn't like the stockade fence AT ALL.  I put in a chain link gate so that he could see out .... much better :toothy4:
