8 years today. It doesn't seem possible. She has helped me through so much these 8 years I love her with all my

That makes Sophie's gotcha day not long from now, I can't remember which day exactly? It was about 2-3 weeks I think after I got the three. I can't believe the girls will be 9 this summer.

Hallie in the plant cart with an umbrella for the sun and I had to cup water in my hands from their fountain to wet her down and keep her cool...

Then this would be the date you broke Sophie out of jail. For us her gotcha date is either August 6th or 8th - Deb has it written down somewhere. It doesn't seem like 8 years ago. They are two remarkable little girls.

Honest to God, I watched that video a couple times, and laughed each time more than the last. That was absolutely priceless. Such a dignified, snooty look when offered the "big banana". And a "yummy" expression with the "small" banana.

Rich it would have been Aug 6 then because it was just after I got home from bringing Sophie to you and Deb that I decided I couldn't let Hallie go too and that would have been the next day, Aug 7, which is the day I chose for her birthday.

We should have had a banana eating contest at the bow wow! Would be funny to see how the different doxies handle a whole banana like that.

I'm so sorry this is late Miss Hallie! I KNOW that you had a wonderful gotcha day! Your mama loves you so much and you are both so lucky to have each other. I love the picture in the cart. Those flowers may be gorgeous but they can't top YOU!
Tell your mama that I think your "banana manners" are just perfect! Little ladies need to be dainty sometimes!

Happy belated gotcha day sweetie princess, those flowers are gorgeous but you are still the prettiest of all. We´re sure you´ll have had a wonderful day. BTW have you asked your Mummy for those mini-bananas from Ecuador or Mexico? The tiny little finger sized ones...daintily suitable for a princess.
